we wished existed.
BubbaChat started when we became parents and realised there was no good answer to a simple question: how do you share your baby's photos with the whole family without putting them on Facebook?
The problem with existing options
WhatsApp works until your family group has 40 people and searching for a photo from three months ago requires scrolling forever. Facebook is too public and too many family members refuse to use it. iCloud Shared Albums only works well if everyone has an iPhone. Google Photos is getting more complicated and less private with every update.
We tried all of them. The result was always the same: some family members got everything, some missed half of it, and we felt vaguely uncomfortable about where all those photos were going.
So we built BubbaChat. A private place for your baby's timeline, accessible to exactly the people you choose, with notifications that actually respect how often different family members want to be contacted.
What we are building towards
Our goal is a platform where Australian families can confidently document every milestone knowing their photos are private, safe, and available years from now.
We are not trying to become a social network. We are not trying to show you advertising. We are building a small, focused tool that does one thing exceptionally well: lets families share privately.

Privacy is not a feature, it is the foundation
Every decision we make about how BubbaChat works starts with the same question: does this protect the privacy of our families? There are no public profiles, no searchable photos, and no advertising data collection. Your family's moments belong to you.
Built for actual families, not for demo videos
We thought about what happens when Nan needs to join but has never used a smartphone app, when a relationship changes and someone needs to lose access, and when you have three kids and want separate groups for each. BubbaChat handles all of it.
Australian data stays in Australia
Your photos, videos, and family information are stored on Australian infrastructure and governed by Australian privacy law. We are not a subsidiary or white-label product. We are an Australian company, full stop.
No advertising, ever
We charge a small subscription fee because we believe in being honest about our business model. Your baby's photos will never be used to train advertising models, and you will never see a nappy ad because of something you posted.
